Thanks man, im working on my first actual game, that uses the HTML canvas element, as it is easier for a newbie to use and learn than using, say, an image with coords.
Well, I'm actually starting with Unity and creating my game too! I'm doing a platformer (probably the easiest 2d type of game), but you could try to do an RPG, it'd be cool!
as of right now, i have just finished the base game, and it will be uploaded to itch.io for testing an such. 304 lines of code, 1 week. i only have one enemy and one role working and all it is, is a pokemon, infinite wave type of fight game, but it will "evolve" :)
